By using buildtheory.app or engaging Build Theory LLC ("Build Theory", "we", "us") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services. Build Theory LLC is located at 117 W Allen St, Suite 105, Wentzville, MO 63385.

We provide website design, development, search engine optimization and answer engine optimization services. The specific deliverables, timeline and fees for any engagement are set out in a written proposal, statement of work or invoice, which is incorporated into these terms. Work outside the agreed scope may require a change order and additional fees.

• Provide content, brand assets, approvals and access in a timely manner.
• Confirm you own or have the rights to any materials you supply to us.
• Maintain your own backups and credentials for accounts we do not control.

Projects typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due per the agreed schedule. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Invoices are due on receipt unless stated otherwise, and late balances may incur interest or a suspension of work. Either party may cancel a retainer with 30 days written notice; deposits and completed work are non-refundable.

On full payment, you own the final deliverables created specifically for you. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, frameworks, components and know-how, and grant you a license to use them as part of your deliverables. We may display completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

Projects may rely on third-party platforms such as hosting, CMS, analytics, scheduling and payment providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and pricing, and we are not responsible for their availability or changes.

SEO and AEO outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including search engine and AI platform algorithms and competitor activity. We do not guarantee specific rankings, citations, traffic or revenue.

By submitting a form or providing your email address you agree that we may email you about your enquiry, project, invoices and service notices. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent and include an unsubscribe link. To opt out of marketing at any time, use the unsubscribe link or email support@buildtheory.app.

• Program description. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Build Theory LLC about enquiries, appointments, project updates, account notices and, where you have agreed, promotions.
• Consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You confirm you are the subscriber or authorized user of the number you provide.
• Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier plan.
• Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt in again.
• Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at 636-679-0088 or support@buildtheory.app.
• Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless provider.
• Privacy. No mobile information will be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, except with subprocessors that help deliver the messages. See our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, or use our services for unlawful, infringing or abusive purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Build Theory LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim in the three months before the claim arose.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in St. Charles County, Missouri.
